1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/4 cup lemon juice, about 1 large lemon
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup water
salt to taste
In a food processor or a blender combine all ingredients and mix until creamy.
This easy tahini sauce is lovely for having with crudités, as sandwich spread, appetizer dip, sauce for the quinoa falafel, over a warm pita, for kebabs. You can even make into a salad dressing by thinning it with a little water.
